70 million people voted for Trump. So even if the growing rabble about voter fraud is true, it shouldn't have come to a few thousand votes. Something is seriously wrong with this country.
I realize that has been so for a very long time, but I thought a little more growth would have occurred by now. The Obama backlash caught me by surprise. The refusal to vote for a woman a little darker than a Pantone 11-0105 white did, too. This happened among *young white male voters.* We are going backwards in many ways. One foot forward, one and a half back.
Civil War? Probably not. Too hard to create geographical demarcations. Race war? If so, I'm sure as hell joining the side of POC, if only to knock the heads of some of those idiotic Joe Rogan Experience bros. Civil unrest? Almost a certainty if the midterms go south and he isn't impeached, which seems unlikely but you never know. It's been a weird few years.
I even got pushback from people in my echo chamber on an excerpt I posted here today of an alternative history novel I wrote about slavery ending in the late 1700s (still unreleased). White Americans are incapable of reviewing history through the lens of Black people. It drives me crazy. I can only imagine how it makes Black folks feel, no matter how accustomed to it they may be.
If there's a slave war, I'm on your side. Life isn't so important to me that I'm not willing to choose the right side. If I die, I die. My words will remain.
I had a long conversation with him at the previous protest. You are lucky to have missed him. I suspect the next protest he’ll be back on the corner of Old Kings and Palm Coast Pkwy.
Hey, Happy Father's Day. What they want is civil war.
Today's landed gentry nepo-babies have never worried about filling their tank or feeding their children. They are the Establishment and are not going to give up dominance easily. They have proven they will start wars on behalf of class influence, and we have proven unable to react adequately unless our existence is threatened. However, we have made it this far and will keep showing up for democracy. We have learned it is not free.
Carol and I were heartened by attendance at our rally here. The crowd, thank God, was younger and more diverse than earlier, which were mostly old white people. The kids are getting it. I remain dedicated to outliving that SOB and the horse he rode in on.
I'm a multi-platform agitator. Yes I am and I'm something else - I'm an elderly Black woman with 20/20 vision, a Baretta 9mm and believe whole heartedly in the motto "Don't F With Me and I'll Let You Be."
There's prepared and there's capitulation, Im encouraging folks to lean towards the former.
Many of our people have been "wishing and hoping" things will get better. It has, but not for anyone considered - other (especially us).
Will there be an "on the ground" war in the US? TacoTits and his ilk sure hope so. BUT one thing is for certain, there are less bloody ways to conquer a people and it isn't with bullets.
We see it, erode the very services and infrastructures people rely on to survive. Like what Ms Agitator:
Shuttimg down grocery stores, foodbanks and farmers markets. Then place covenants and sanctions on growing your own food.
Restrict access to financial services, like banking for home or personal loans based upon a nebulous credit rating score carrot they will never catch.
Employment restrictions that pay, by law, just enough to keep them showing up and over spending on every needed service available like healthcare, transportation or housing.
Then the cherry on top: Treat them to the prospect of being labeled as homeless, mentally unstable, felon, credit risk or indigent using the very system they "dreamed and hoped" was fair isn't.
The war began with TacoTits first trial run. And as any 5 year old knows - Rock beats scissors and paper every time. 🫠
The are desperately trying to instigate a red/blue state civil war because they think they have the power. The irony is that without all the donor blue states they will cease to exist and even the precious military will be bankrupt! It would be in their best interest to stop pushing us so hard No Kings day showed we have the power!

Hope springs eternal
And brings a breath of fresh air.
I’m in Palm Coast too. Glad I didn’t see him!
