Thank you for your article! Roy Cohn was persecuting gays and of course we now know his story. Add J Edgar Hoover to that pile (check out Tim Gunn’s verified account of his meeting with Hoover/Vivian Vance). The hate excavations continue..

Until we have universal human rights, it's gonna be a long slog. Things would be so easy if we respected people as long as they're respectful. The thirst for power, wealth, fame, combined with ignorance, is a sad corruptor of our potential ♡ we're all in this together. Thank you for your work! Let's keep love in the foreground.

I am in the "duck and cover" generation caused by the Red Scare.

The red flag flies again.

Each generation needs to be informed about the critical role civic involvement plays in their survival in America. They must be reminded that democracy must be fought for or it will disappear! Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to public office in California was murdered advocating for LGBTQ+individuals. He has no holiday in his name, yearly Academy Award biopic, no coin minted, and while a ship carried his name, it's being erased. If there were a national deformation league existing which penalizes and criminalizes, the negative sayings or images of this community, i.e. for example - The Jewish Defamation League- I think the issue of a violet, purple, lavender or polka dot Scare would be mute. All marginalized groups need a defamation league(power base, money, influence, media, political pull) basically a Keep My Name Out of Your Mouth defining moment🌈🔥

It's the one thing Conservatives are good at, the one thing they have breadth and depth and hold a gracious welcoming stance for: any kind of hate and bias. Those who Hate At A Professional Level are Always Willing To Expand That Hate To Include As Many People As They Possibly Can. Big of them, that. Why hate just a few people, when you can run the board and Hate Everyone Who Is Not You, Does Not Live Like You, Those Who Subscribe To Opinions Of Which You Do Not Approve and Those You Find Attractive But You Really Do Not Want To Be Attacked Too. Bigly-Mess That One, Hating The Self Played As Hating Others.

Probably good for money somewhere in there. Fewer people to share with. More people to exclude.
