No problem, just make bootstraps available for the poor, including instructions; "Grasp straps with a firm grip, and pull oneself upward until desired prosperity is achieved!" DD

I would love for people who commit white collar crimes to be stripped of all of their illegally gained income and possessions and be blocked from accessing any other kind of income except from a minimum wage physical labor job for the duration of their sentence.

They should be required to live for at least one year for every conviction, in a red-lined neighborhood (not in any subsidized housing). They should not have access to any vehicle or subsidized health care. They should have to use their minimum wage income to pay for public transportation or taxi-cabs, food, shelter, clothing and medical services. Same kind of sentencing for politicians who embezzle public funds or found guilty of corruption. Let them learn the harsh realities of how their actions affect the lives of poor and working-class folk.

Better to be born rich or at least well-off in myriad ways. Until a Revolution and the tumbrils start getting spattered with blood. But we seem to have moved past that. The rich almost never suffer from their excess of affluence and lack of concern for their fellow citizens. When they get caught doing bad things, they get the best lawyers and generally get away with their assorted misdeeds, as do their children. Bread and Circuses. Bread and Circuses. America has the best existential capitalist-corporate Get Out Of Jail Free Card in that Calvinistic-Exceptionalism Thought Barrier and Outrage Damper that schools The Poor into believing that their Poverty Is Always Their Fault and that the Wealthy Are Wealthy Soley Because They Worked Hard For Their Money.

As a white, fair skinned woman I don’t know if anything I say here speaks to what you write - which I find to be an exegesis that should be read by - above all - the privileged (wealthy). (I am not that - but have been privileged). The children of wealth deserve pity. Hard for many to reach that conclusion I suspect, but I’ve seen it closely, and it’s true.

And to anyone ever hungry - for stability, a roof over their heads, hungry - I know that is asinine to you and should be.
