Not just the Daughters of the Confederacy but most historians and textbooks as well. They use terms like “Natural Increase” and “Natural Reproduction” to hide forced breeding and rape as the means to dramatically increase the slave population.

Usually they gloss over that part of it. They tell the white lie and it becomes really sinister.
