“Quiet, Quiet, Piggy!”
You know who Trump is, and he proves it again
I could probably write a 1,500-word story surrounding Donald Trump silencing a female reporter asking why he won’t release the Epstein Files, which have always been within his power. Trump pointed his finger and said, “Quiet, quiet, piggy!”.
This happened the same day he insulted another female reporter for asking Trump’s guest, Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), a question. MBS has been persona non grata since his role in the murder and cutting up of the body of Washington Post reporter Jamal Khashoggi. In February 2021, the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a declassified report concluding that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) approved the operation to capture or kill Khashoggi.
Trump interrupted her, calling her a “terrible reporter,” and threatened ABC’s broadcast license. He then defended MBS, saying, “He’s done a phenomenal job… Things happen, but he knew nothing about it.”
I could write the story, adding multiple quotes from times where Trump demonstrated his misogyny, but what would be the point? Everyone has known who Trump was since the Access Hollywood video in 2016, showing the world his opinion of women.
Given that everyone knows who Trump is, the only remaining question is, do you care? There are dozens of responses from other reporters and advocacy groups in response to Trump calling a woman “piggy.” I could note that she retained her professionalism, later writing about the incident but allowing it to speak for itself.
I could note that none of the criticism came from the Republican members of Congress who enable him. Maybe that’s how we get people like Epstein, because the people who could have kept them in check never do. That is all.

The only thing scarier than Trump is all the people who continue to support him and enable him. I have friends who are Evangelical Magats who I continue to ask, “What’s the breaking point for you? What does Trump have to do for you to no longer support him?” It boggles my imagination that people so caring to others in their personal lives will tolerate years of his cruelty.
Trump calling someone “Piggy” is massive projection.
